These chess pieces represent the two opposing armies in the most famous battle ever fought on English soil.

The white pieces feature Harold, King of England leading his forces into battkle against William, Duke of Normandy. The ensuing battle fought near Hastings in 1066 altered the course of English history.

The set celebrates the battle in great and authentic detail.

The King height is 4.50 inches (11 centimetres)

The set is suited to a board with a square size of approximately 2 inches.
